My Beliefs
-
Engagement and Meaning
I believe language learning is most effective when connected to real-life situations and personal experiences. -
Creativity in Learning
Like in photography, I encourage students to express themselves and take risks in using the language. -
Fluency Over Perfection
Confidence and communication matter more than perfect grammar; mistakes are part of the process. -
Supportive Environment
A safe classroom where students can experiment and learn from their mistakes promotes growth. -
Language as Connection
English is a tool for connecting with others, exploring new ideas, and expanding opportunities.
About Learning:
-
Engagement
Learning is most effective when students actively participate in real-life contexts. -
Creativity
Language learning should encourage self-expression and experimentation. -
Mistakes are Growth
Mistakes are part of learning; fluency matters more than perfection. -
Student-Centered
Learning should be personalized to each student’s needs and interests. -
Connection
Language is a tool for communication, connection, and expanding opportunities.
